Curious about Anglicanism?  Come to a special Sunday just for you!  

Sunday, October 4 is Inquirers Sunday at St George's Anglican Church (190 E State Highway 31, McAlester).

You don't have to be Anglican, or know anything about Anglicanism, to come -- that's the point!  This Sunday is designed especially for those curious about Anglican Christianity or St George's.

Inquirers Sunday begins at 10:00 AM with our regular Sunday worship: no gimmicks, no pressure, just worshiping the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Come as you are.  Everything you need to follow the service will be provided, and no one expects you to know what to do or when to do it!  Children are welcome in our worship.

Following the service, our priest will offer a brief introduction to Anglicanism and then take time for your questions -- any questions!

You will find at St George's a warm group of Christians who value Anglican emphases on the importance of Holy Scripture and the life-giving nature of the Eucharist.  We are in pursuit of the truth of the Lord, service to our neighbors, and the transforming life of faith.
